LiveFyz Waypoint turns a field trip at a zoo, museum or science center into a live scavenger hunt. Student groups explore with a map and a question at every stop, while teachers follow every group in real time.
Groups of about four students share one phone, usually the chaperone’s. Each student signs in with a school ID number, never a full name.
The answer to a riddle is the next exhibit to visit.
A map shows “You are here” and a star on the next stop.
A short timed look at the animals or artwork, with things to notice.
Then the question appears. Students take turns answering.
Groups are spread out automatically. Each one gets its next stop the moment it finishes, steering away from exhibits where other groups already are, so nobody crowds the same exhibit.
One trip gives teachers a clear picture of the day, and gives the venue honest feedback on every exhibit.
Each stop has one scored question, plus optional extras. The question only appears after the group has looked, so nobody can search for the answer on the way.
Four answers, shuffled for each group.
A life cycle or a timeline, by tapping steps in order. Partial credit counts.
A word printed on the exhibit sign. It proves the group read it.
Links two stops a group has visited: “You saw reptiles warming under heat lamps. How does the polar bear stay warm?”
“What were most of the elephants doing?” Not scored: it’s for class discussion.
Optional ratings for each exhibit, answered by the group, never by individual students.
Tell us about your venue or school and we’ll walk you through a trip, from the roster to the results.
